About Us
Wolverines Hockey is a year-round high school hockey program based in Parker, Colorado. We play the fall club season as the Wolverines and the winter high school season as the Chaparral Wolverines.
We are a co-op. Our players come from Chaparral, Legend, and Ponderosa High Schools, Parker-area private schools including Lutheran, CEC, and eDCSD, and schools farther east without their own hockey programs, such as Elizabeth and Kiowa.
Our Mission
Wolverines Hockey Club fosters, develops, and supports amateur ice hockey for high school student athletes in Douglas County, Colorado. Through year-round competitive play, structured skill development, and need-based financial assistance, the Club uses the sport to build discipline, accountability, and leadership in the athletes it serves.
Roster spots are earned at tryouts. Once a player is selected, we strive to make sure cost is never the reason they can't play. Need-based assistance, donor support, and volunteer labor help cover the gap.
The Club is volunteer driven and funded by participant fees, donors, and sponsors. Every dollar is accounted for and spent on the program.
Our Seasons
Club season in the Colorado Prep Hockey League, August through mid-November.
Official high school season under the Chaparral High School banner, mid-November through March.
Summer skate, skill sessions, and strength and conditioning.
